About Me

I’m Yaya, a Five Element Acupuncturist in training, combining a degree in psychology, and almost a decade of corporate experience creating a practice that truly understands the pressures and challenges of modern life.

In today’s fast-paced world, marked by constant distractions, limited access to healthcare, and an over-reliance on symptom-alleviating medications, it’s no wonder that so many of us feel disconnected, unhealthy, and unfulfilled. This growing sense of disconnection has contributed to a rise in mental health challenges, physical symptoms and lack of direction.

After experiencing a decline in my own health and happiness, a friend recommended I try Five Element Acupuncture. Sceptical but curious I started treatment and it changed my life. My migraines disappeared, my lower back pain eased, I felt calm, I could sleep, I felt like myself again.

This transformative experience inspired me to dedicate myself to studying this powerful system of medicine.

Under the guidance of renowned practitioners such as Gerad Kite, I now specialise in treating individuals holistically. By integrating my psychology background with the wisdom of Chinese medicine, I take a personalised approach to understand and address each person’s unique needs.

Using the ancient principles of acupuncture, I focus on the root causes of imbalance, whether they manifest physically or emotionally. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, anxiety, depression, pain, or simply looking to improve overall wellness, I am committed to helping you achieve a healthier, more balanced and happier life.

From February-August 2025 I am offering treatments under the supervision of the Yellow Path faculty every Saturday until August when I earn my license.

During this time treatments are just £25 at the Yellow Path Student Clinic - a fraction of the usual cost.
